Learn what you need to do to respond to the new recomĀmended practice
on Location of Process Plant Portable Buildings. Learn what issues
are being addressed in revising API RP-752 and what you will need
to prepare for in response. The first day is a management overview;
the second day is a more technical course designed for the process
safety professional who is performing facility siting studies and
requires each student to bring a calculator.
You will:
- Look at facility siting issues from Texas City
- Gain an overview of RP-753, including using the simplified approach
for portable buildings
- Review the RP-752 approach
- Discuss RP-752 issues and changes
- Address facility siting issues based on the Baker Panel and
CSB reports
- Review and apply appropriate methodologies and calculations
