Information
At the completion of this course, the student
will be able to define basic instrumentation terms, identify various
components in an instrumentation loop and explain their function.
In addition, the student will be able to explain the use of multimeters,
oscilloscopes, and portable power supplies. The student will also
be able to describe the operation of temperature sensing devices
and how to test them. Finally, the student will be able to explain
the basic principles of calibration.
