At the completion of this course, the student
will be able to describe: the effects of fouling, corrosion, and
erosion commonly found in heat exchangers; common techniques used
to clean heat exchangers; basic steps used to inspect heat exchangers;
steps used in performing common leak tests; and basic steps used
to perform repairs.
