At the completion of this course, the student
will be able to: identify common types of hand and power tools,
and describe safety precautions associated with them. The student
will also be able to identify common types of measuring tools and
describe their uses. In addition, the student will be able to identify
common types of fasteners, describe basic specification issues,
and explain basic fastener usage and safety considerations.
