At the completion of this course, the student
will be able to describe the major steps involved in disassembling,
inspecting and reassembling screw type positive displacement pumps
and identify parts that are commonly replaced. The student will
also be able to describe the major steps involved in overhauling
gear, piston, diaphragm, lobe, vane, and liquid ring pumps.
