Information
At the completion of this course, the student
will be able to explain equipment grounding concepts, how to perform
D.C. ground detection, how to use D.C. ground detection switches
as supplied by a battery charger, and which D.C. breakers cannot
be turned off during operation. The student will also be able to:
identify unwanted circuit grounds; describe the process for eliminating
ground faults; and describe the basic steps required for testing
of proper equipment grounds.
