by industry which is primary designed around educating persons of
various backgrounds to a level of understanding of tank standards
which will afterward enable the attendee to pass the testing requirements
of The American Petroleum Institute and become APi653 Certified
Tank Inspectors.
This All New API Advance Course is designed for those professionals
that are involved, dedicated and committed to stay on top by sharpening
their skills by receiving a higher, more complex level of training.
Participants will receive a 3- Ring binder containing all of the
material covered in this course plus papers written by the trainers,
all of whom are considered experts in the petroleum industry.

The featured speaker and coordinator for this advanced training
is John Cornell, Tank Specialist. He has coordinated in-house API
Standard 653 courses on tank inspection and repair as well as providing
training on API Standards 650 and 620. He was awarded the contract
to offer all the tank related training to the 2006 EPA OSC Readiness
Training contract and has been the Senior Associate Staff Member
for the Transportation safety Institute through which he is under
contract to provide training to Federal and State U.S.D.O.T. Breakout
Tank Inspectors on the applicable tanks regulations as related to
Above- Ground Storage Tanks. Mr. Cornell also serves on the API
Pressure Vessels & Tanks Subcommittee.
